Tasting Notes
옅은 금빛이 잔 안에서 맑게 어린다. 글렌모렌지 라산타답게 올로로소와 PX 셰리 통이 더한 호두와 마른 과일의 향이 풀잎 같은 산뜻함, 바닐라와 은은한 박하와 함께 가볍게 열린다. 열두 해의 숙성이 그 향을 부드럽게 다듬는다. 혀에 닿으면 43도의 편안한 도수가 혀 위를 매끄럽게 지나며 오렌지와 레몬, 사과파이와 퍼지, 커스터드의 달콤함이 둥글게 감돈다. 다섯 번째 에디션다운 셰리의 단맛이 오크와 곱게 어우러진다. 크리미한 오크와 감귤의 여운이 목 뒤로 은은하게 이어진다.

air Nose
light and fresh, rather grassier than the usual Glenmorangies, and closer to the raw malt, which suggests a young age. A touch of vanilla from some American oak, and perhaps walnuts from the sherry, plus a smidgen of fresh mint. Lightish whisky, but it’s whisky anyway ;-)
restaurant Palate
oranges, lemons, oak, cider apples, some barley syrup, a little fudge, and some custard. Some literature mentions smoke, but unless I’m getting smoke-blind, I’m hardly getting any. A little apple pie. The body’s rather bigger than I had thought when nosing it, but the whole remains pretty harmless
