잔을 가볍게 돌리면 짙은 황금빛이 잔 벽을 타고 부드럽게 번진다. 코를 가까이 하면 글렌 기리 특유의 잘 익은 과일 향과 꿀, 1st필 버번의 진한 바닐라가 따뜻하게 올라온다. 한 모금 머금으면 18년 숙성한 둥근 질감 위로 잘 익은 복숭아와 토피, 옅은 흙내가 번진다. 58.3도의 힘으로 삼킨 뒤에도 달콤한 꿀과 구운 오크가 혀끝에 길게 남는다.
