퍼스트필 버번 호그스헤드에서 14년을 보낸 숙성이 글렌 기리의 단단한 개성을 또렷하게 끌어올렸다. 코끝에는 잘 익은 사과와 꿀, 갓 구운 빵 향이 산뜻하게 올라온다. 56.2도의 높은 도수는 바닐라와 보리 사탕, 알싸한 후추를 거침없이 밀어 올린다. 옛 스타일의 단단함을 지닌 글렌 기리답게 곡물의 골격이 또렷하게 드러난다. 옅은 금빛 끝에 맥아 단맛과 구운 오크가 길게 이어진다.
