스카이 섬 탈리스커의 증류소는 거센 바닷바람과 파도의 풍토 속에서 후추 같은 매운 몰트를 빚는다. 포트와인 캐스크에서 13년을 보낸 이 위스키는 짙은 구릿빛을 머금는다. 향에서는 옅은 훈연과 붉은 베리, 바다 소금기가 또렷하게 올라오고 옅은 가죽이 더해진다. 46도의 입안에서는 검은 후추와 잘 익은 자두, 포트의 단맛이 단단하게 흐른다. 중간에는 라즈베리와 흑설탕의 단맛이 두꺼운 질감으로 퍼진다. 탈리스커다운 후추의 매운맛과 짠맛의 여운이 길고 뜨겁게 이어진다.

to tell you the truth, I do not find many differences between the Storm and the Dark Storm. The colour is darker, but the whisky’s similar. Maybe a little more pencil shavings? Bread crust? Tea? Oranges, perhaps?
restaurant Palate
same feelings. A little more body, thickness, spicy oak, also more spices, ginger, caraway… Cumin, pepper, aquavit… I think the Storm was better chiselled, but this is good, no doubt
