Tasting Notes
스카이 섬 서안의 거센 바닷바람 속에서 탈리스커는 후추 같은 해양 개성을 키운다. 잔에는 옅은 호박빛이 어린다. 셰리에 오래 숙성한 1956 빈티지는 아르마냑에 절인 자두와 타르, 감초의 향을 깊게 끌어올린다. 40도의 입안은 앞서 나오는 이탄에 전나무 수지와 장뇌, 짭짤한 셰리가 마르게 감돈다. 여운은 흙내와 약재, 소금기 어린 연기를 길고 진중하게 남긴다.

much richer and more evidently sherry matured. Wonderful notes of prunes in armagnac, old Claquesin tar liqueur, gentian root, dandelion and burdock cordial and sweet liquorice. A generally sweeter, rounder and richer level of peat I would say. Also the impression of one or two notches more power, which is great
restaurant Palate
as on the nose, the peat is more up front and more elevated in strength, but here it is much drier, closer in style the Berry's and more herbal, rooty and earthy. The sherry is also drier, more rugged and saltier. All that being said, you feel the bottling strength-induced softness more on the palate than on the nose with this one. Lots of fir wood resins, camphor, eucalyptus and medicinal balms
