스카이 섬의 거친 파도와 바닷바람이 탈리스커에 짭짤하고 강렬한 개성을 처음부터 끝까지 새긴다. 셰리 호그스헤드로 마무리했지만 순수한 증류액의 개성이 앞서는 이 7년 보틀링은 화이트 와인처럼 옅은 빛을 띤다. 코에는 소금물과 올리브, 훈연과 해초, 훈제 청어와 굴의 향이 밀려온다. 46도의 입안은 바닷물과 레몬즙, 액체 같은 스모크가 팽팽하게 얽힌다. 여운은 재와 소금, 훈연이 길게 남으며 초록 올리브의 뉘앙스가 스친다.

it’s pure malt distillate, it’s not exactly whisky. Don’t look for any wood influence, it’s all crystalline, pure, mezcaly spirit. Brine and olives, smoke and seaweed, kippers and oysters. Punto basta
