버번 호그스헤드에서 7년을 보낸 원액이 스카이 섬 탈리스커의 어린 패기에 바닐라의 둥근 단맛을 더했다. 코에는 후추 같은 매캐함과 짭조름한 바닷바람, 잘 익은 배가 어우러진다. 46도의 도수를 타고 입에서는 훈연한 후추와 시트러스, 옅은 단맛이 또렷하게 번진다. 옅은 금빛과 함께, 탈리스커 특유의 화끈한 후추의 여운이 짭조름하게 길게 남는다.

it’s pure malt distillate, it’s not exactly whisky. Don’t look for any wood influence, it’s all crystalline, pure, mezcaly spirit. Brine and olives, smoke and seaweed, kippers and oysters. Punto basta
