스카이 섬 거친 해안 절벽 아래 유일한 증류소 탈리스커, 2008년 증류한 5년산이다. 섬을 때리는 파도와 바닷바람이 후추 같은 매운 기운과 짠맛을 새긴다. 리필 호그스헤드에서 5년을 보내 잔빛은 옅은 황금빛이다. 바다 소금과 후추, 옅은 훈연이 향에서 또렷이 드러나고 입에서는 알싸한 후추 위로 보리의 단맛과 짠 기운이 흐른다. 매운 기운과 소금기가 어우러진 여운이 길게 남는다.

it’s pure malt distillate, it’s not exactly whisky. Don’t look for any wood influence, it’s all crystalline, pure, mezcaly spirit. Brine and olives, smoke and seaweed, kippers and oysters. Punto basta
