물처럼 투명하고 옅은 빛이 잔 속에서 맑게 반짝인다. 리필 호그스헤드에서 6년을 보낸 탈리스커 2008은 어리고 거친 야성을 드러내며, 메즈칼을 떠올리게 하는 짭조름한 해초와 검은 올리브, 흑연의 향을 앞세운다. 46도의 알코올이 입에서 재와 풋고추, 자몽의 쌉쌀함으로 번지고, 아일랜즈 특유의 톡 쏘는 후추가 강하게 밀려든다. 풀 같은 연기가 혀를 감싸고, 여운은 길게 이어지며 재와 올리브, 풋고추의 씁쓸함이 오래 남는다.

you cannot not think of mezcal, serious. Olives by the lorryload, ashes, green pepper, grapefruit, and more pepper. Talisker pepper, if you see what I mean. A load of green, grassy smoke
