Tasting Notes
잔을 손안에서 굴리면 맑은 금빛이 잔 벽을 따라 가볍게 흐른다. 잔을 흔들어 향을 깨우면 탈리스커 특유의 후추 같은 연기와 짭조름한 바다 기운, 시트러스가 솟는다. 2012년 증류해 10년을 보낸 이 위스키를 한 모금 혀에 올리면 48.4도가 훈제 후추와 보리 단맛, 옅은 재를 펼친다. 넘기고 나면 매운 후추와 소금이 길게 남는다.

it’s a lovely Talisker but with a more modern twist, that is to say, more influenced by wood, resins, sugars and spices. This often veers into resinous territory and in truth, that’s rather the case here, to the point it somewhat blankets the powerful distillate. Fir honey, liquorice, marmalade, marzipan and mussels in white wine. That we like
