Tasting Notes
스카이 섬의 거친 바닷바람과 화산암 지형이 탈리스커에 특유의 후추 같은 개성을 새긴다. 두 개의 리필 호그스헤드에서 8년을 보낸 이 독립 병입은 옅은 황금빛을 띠고, 향은 젖은 미네랄과 박하, 캠퍼에 풋고추의 알싸함이 얽힌다. 46도의 입안은 건조하게 열려 오크의 쌉쌀함과 소금기, 레몬 껍질이 팽팽하게 맞선다. 여운은 그을린 소금기와 마른 훈연을 남기며 스카이의 바다를 곧게 실어 나른다.

it’s nice-ish, it’s just not very complex, although, could be that they improved the recipe, I’m not too sure. I find less of the straight coconut-and-vanilla elements this time, and more tin, concrete, menthol, camphor and green pepper
restaurant Palate
the oak feels, there’s a drying bitterness, then salt and lemon peel. I find it tough, and god knows I love the 10yo, which shouldn’t be that older. The oak gets louder (sawdust)
timer Finish
medium, gritty and drying. Needs polishing. The aftertaste is a little nicer, read more on smoked brine, but that’s a little late
