노즈에서는 밀튼더프다운 구운 견과와 토스트, 오렌지 조각과 오발틴의 향이 명확하게 드러난다. 팰럿은 46도의 절제된 도수로 오렌지와 꿀, 건포도와 퍼지의 단맛이 부드럽게 발전한다. 블렌디드용으로 이름난 스페이사이드 몰트답게 시바스 리갈을 떠올리게 하는 단정한 균형이 또렷하다. 맥기번 프로버넌스다운 이 보틀링은 피니시에서 캔디드 과일과 몰트가 길게 이어진다.

it’s very blendish malt whisky, I cannot not think of Chivas Regal 12. Roasted nuts, toasted bread, bits of oranges, Ovaltine, raisins, chocolate, fudge, soaked grains… It’s not unpleasant, but it’s probably not the Zauberflöte
