옅은 짚빛이 잔에 맑게 어린다. 2007년 증류해 셰리 벗에서 9년을 보낸 밀턴더프를 더글러스 랭이 담은 이 위스키는 갓 벤 보리와 익어 가는 오렌지에 생강과 햄, 미소된장의 은은한 감칠맛이 스친다. 46도의 술은 입안에서 새콤한 사과와 보리, 맥주, 쿠앵트로의 달큰함에 중동식 단빵의 결이 겹쳐 든다. 어린 나이에도 곡물의 힘이 또렷해 정직한 인상을 준다. 여운은 중간 길이로 보리와 케이크, 오렌지의 잔향이 산뜻하게 남는다.
