Tasting Notes
맑은 황금빛이 잔 안에서 옅게 빛난다. 밀튼더프가 2008년을 담아 7년을 보낸 이 보틀링은 코끝에서 구운 견과와 토스트, 오렌지 껍질의 향을 부드럽게 풀어놓는다. 오래 두면 건포도와 초콜릿, 퍼지 같은 달큰한 향이 그 위로 겹친다. 다시 향을 맡으면 옅은 몰트 초콜릿과 캐러멜 내음이 또렷해진다. 46도의 편안한 도수로 입안에서는 오렌지와 꿀, 건포도의 단맛이 순하게 흐른다. 잘 짜인 블렌드를 떠올리게 하는 균형이 느껴진다. 여운은 설탕에 절인 과일과 몰트의 구수함으로 길게 이어진다.

it’s very blendish malt whisky, I cannot not think of Chivas Regal 12. Roasted nuts, toasted bread, bits of oranges, Ovaltine, raisins, chocolate, fudge, soaked grains… It’s not unpleasant, but it’s probably not the Zauberflöte

hey, I like this! Once again it’s rather Chivasy, and that works well. Oranges, honey, raisins, fudge… and all that. No need to write a novel about it, let alone an opera, but yeah, it’s pleasant
