Tasting Notes
리필 셰리 버트에서 15년을 보낸 이 보틀링은 노즈부터 개성이 강하다. 파라핀과 화약 같은 서늘한 향이 먼저 서고 가죽과 젖은 흙, 초석의 뉘앙스가 뒤를 잇는다. 물을 더하면 간장과 오래된 발사믹의 감칠맛이 올라와 농가 같은 인상이 짙어진다. 50.2도의 팰럿은 후추가 강하고 가죽의 결이 길게 이어지며 살미악 같은 짠 감초가 중반을 받친다. 피니시는 생강과 향신료가 앞으로 나온다.

it’s one of these ‘strange’ ones, with quite some paraffin and gunpowder (some ‘private’ OBs were like this a few years ago). Huge notes of leather, damp earth, saltpetre and bitter oranges… With water: becomes very farmy. Wet dogs (sorry, dogs) and moss (sorry, mo… hold on…) plus soy sauce and old balsamic vinegar
restaurant Palate
rich and very peppery, powerful, extremely leathery, with notes of gin and quite some cardboard in the background. Salmiak. With water: becomes a little grassier, with also quite some pepper, cloves and these gin notes once again (no soap though)
timer Finish
rather long, with the spices coming to the front. Ginger
