Tasting Notes
하이랜드 경계의 완만한 언덕에 자리한 글렌고인은 느린 증류로 부드러운 원액을 빚는다. 2001년 원액을 올로로소 셰리 버트에서 17년 익힌 이 싱글 캐스크는 짙은 호박빛을 보인다. 향에서는 잘 익은 자두와 건포도, 옅은 호두가 풍성하게 올라온다. 48.9도의 도수가 입에서는 셰리의 진한 단맛과 마른 과일의 결을 매끄럽게 풀어낸다. 여운에는 향신료와 가죽, 가벼운 오크가 길게 남는다.

Hello! As Mr. Paterson would say. There’s a definite sherry component in the mix here which comes through initially as marmalade on brown toast, some damp earthiness, hessian and darjeeling tea with a slice of lemon. Very elegant and attractive I have to say, there’s an easiness about it which is highly charming
restaurant Palate
stewed fruits, cupboard spices, gingerbread, a wee spoonful of chili oil and a pleasingly silky mouthfeel. Some grated nutmeg, sultanas and a wee metallic, coppery touch. Almonds and walnuts too
timer Finish
long, leathery, getting a tad meatier and still plenty of squidgy dark fruits and some olive oil
