Tasting Notes
옅은 황금빛이 잔 안에 맑게 어린다. 느린 증류로 이름난 글렌고인은 리필 호그스헤드에서 21년을 보내며 잘 익은 사과와 꿀, 마른 풀의 향을 단정하게 풀어놓는다. 입안에서는 배와 보리 맥아, 가벼운 오크 향신료가 둥글고 깔끔하게 번지며 비피트 하이랜드의 결을 드러낸다. 1997년 빈티지의 우아한 과일감이 48.5도의 도수에 잘 실리고, 단정한 깊이가 또렷하다. 사과와 꿀의 부드러운 여운이 길게 늘어진다.

feels rather fresh and youthful at first - in a good way though. Lots of freshly baked bread, fruit scone mix, honeycomb, candied fruit peel, sultanas. There’s also a sense of acidity and sharpness - not unlike a carbolic washback tang in your nostrils
restaurant Palate
immediately very sweet and impressively syrupy. Some prickly green pepper, more candied peel and scattered sultanas and raisins. Fig rolls, apple pie and custard, a few dried herbs and some caraway. Rather punchy and with a fair bit of crunchy maltiness providing backbone
timer Finish
good length, peppery, getting quite spicy with notes of cinnamon and ginger. Also some hints of fresh oak
