Tasting Notes
깊은 적갈색이 잔 속에 따뜻하게 어린다. 하이랜드의 글렌고인이 21년을 보낸 이 위스키는 셰리 통의 영향으로 말린 과일과 견과, 흑설탕의 향을 부드럽게 피워 올린다. 입에 머금으면 건포도와 토피, 잘 익은 자두의 진한 단맛이 혀를 감싸고, 그 아래로 오크의 은은한 향신료가 또렷이 깃들어 있다. 43도의 단정한 도수가 풍미를 둥글게 정돈하며, 여운에는 가죽과 구운 헤이즐넛, 가벼운 시나몬이 길게 이어진다. 오래 숙성된 단정함이 잔잔히 잠겨 있다.

really a classic, extremely well balanced, perhaps a tad conservative but that’s rather an asset in this context. I absolutely adore these notes of stewed peaches and quinces, for example, as well as the Sauternes and the honey. Wonderful and rather the opposite of ‘modern’ whisky
restaurant Palate
extremely good, but too easy to quaff down, really. Lovely caramel and fudge, honey, buttered popcorn, marmalade, maple syrup and just one or two roasted raisins
timer Finish
medium, perfectly clean, seductive, malty, and cake-y. Who does not like this doesn’t like malt whisky at all
