Tasting Notes
하이랜드 남쪽 경계 킬리언의 부드러운 농경 풍토가 글렌고인의 2005 빈티지 10년 캐릭터에 또렷이 깃들었다. 잔에는 깊은 적갈색이 잔잔히 잠겨 있다. 향은 토니 포트 파이프가 빚어낸 말린 자두와 다크 베리, 가벼운 가죽이 또렷이 깃들어 있다. 입에서는 무화과 잼과 시나몬, 캔디드 오렌지가 두꺼운 질감으로 흐르며 59.9도가 단단한 골격을 만든다. 향신료와 가죽의 잔향이 길게 이어진다.

creamish, lightish, sweetish, toffeeish… You know that song, don’t you? Medium finish on sherry, getting dry. Just uninteresting. 75 points (Davin 76, Olivier 76) . July 23, 2004 MALTS – FOUR CASK SAMPLES FROM GLENGOYNE'S After having been overshadowed by both Macallan and Highland Park for years, Glengoyne changed proprietors since a few months, and Ian McLeod, the new owners, put all their PR skills at promoting their new flagship brand. Glengoyne’s high quality never was a secret amongst the Maniacs, and for instance Craig, our Master from Oz, has always been a standing groupie. I just got four cask samples from Glengoyne’s, and called fellow Maniac Olivier and friend Christophe for some help.
