잔을 천천히 돌리면 31년의 시간이 깃든 황금빛이 잔 벽을 타고 느리게 미끄러진다. 코끝으로 가져가면 캠벨타운 특유의 짭조름한 기름기와 마른 과일, 옅은 그을음이 차례로 올라온다. 한 모금 머금으면 1993년 증류된 스프링뱅크의 묵직한 보디가 입천장을 천천히 덮고, 44.4도의 부드러운 알코올이 꿀과 오렌지 껍질을 끌고 온다. 삼킨 뒤에는 소금기 어린 단맛과 왁스 같은 질감이 오래 따라온다.
