노즈에서는 글렌고인에 라 네르트 와인 캐스크가 더한 붉은 베리와 자두, 향신료 향이 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 1996 빈티지 16년 숙성을 거친 이 보틀링은 50도의 도수에서 또렷하고 깊은 질감을 보이며, 입에서는 잘 익은 과수와 캐러멜, 정향이 균형 있게 발전한다. 무피트 증류로 이름난 하이랜드 몰트다운 구조감이 중심을 잡는다. 피니시는 와인 타닌과 달콤한 향신료가 길게 이어진다.

air Nose
curiously grassy, with dried oranges. Kind of absent, dry and very grassy
restaurant Palate
sweeter and much better than on the nose. Mint and milk chocolate, liquorice and oranges, Turkish delights. Very nice but not as stunning as many recent small batches but improves a bit after long breathing
