Tasting Notes
맑은 황금빛이 잔 안에서 또렷하게 빛난다. 1990년에 증류돼 18년을 보낸 글렌고인은 천천히 증류하는 전통을 지켜 온 증류소답게 피트 없이 깨끗한 과일 향을 길러 냈다. 향에서는 잘 익은 사과와 배, 꿀과 바닐라가 산뜻하게 어우러진다. 입에 머금으면 59.9도의 강한 기운 위로 시트러스와 보리 엿, 견과의 단맛이 또렷하게 번진다. 글렌고인다운 맑고 단정한 결이 돋보이고 여운은 꿀과 가벼운 오크의 끝맛으로 길게 이어진다. 피트 없이 천천히 증류한 전통이 빚어 낸 맑고 단정한 과일감이 끝까지 또렷하다.

creamish, lightish, sweetish, toffeeish… You know that song, don’t you? Medium finish on sherry, getting dry. Just uninteresting. 75 points (Davin 76, Olivier 76) . July 23, 2004 MALTS – FOUR CASK SAMPLES FROM GLENGOYNE'S After having been overshadowed by both Macallan and Highland Park for years, Glengoyne changed proprietors since a few months, and Ian McLeod, the new owners, put all their PR skills at promoting their new flagship brand. Glengoyne’s high quality never was a secret amongst the Maniacs, and for instance Craig, our Master from Oz, has always been a standing groupie. I just got four cask samples from Glengoyne’s, and called fellow Maniac Olivier and friend Christophe for some help.
