Tasting Notes
하이랜드 경계 던고인 언덕 기슭의 글렌고인이 스코틀랜드산 오크로 마무리한 15년 보틀링이다. 잔에는 따뜻한 호박빛이 돈다. 느린 증류로 알려진 깨끗한 스피릿 위로 잘 익은 사과, 꿀, 토피, 토종 오크의 향신료가 오른다. 43도의 부드러운 질감으로 입에서는 셰리 같은 건과일과 보리 단맛, 가벼운 타닌이 또렷하게 번진다. 여운에는 토피와 마른 오크의 둥근 단맛이 길게 이어진다.

much, much, and I mean much more happening in this one. Much more complex, with some earth and roots, lemon oil, then fresh mint, mushrooms, moss… I think this is very lovely, especially the freshness is impressive. Behind all that, more classic malt and chocolate as well as roasted nuts and many dried fruits
restaurant Palate
excellent, rich, spicier than the 12 and rather dry. Bags of cinnamon and touches of nutmeg and caraway seeds, fine leathery notes, walnuts and touches of bitter oranges. Big bodied at just 43% vol., how do they do that?
timer Finish
quite long, with the earthiness that we already found in the nose showing up again. Chocolate and tangerine jam. There’s quite some oak but it’s all under control and never drying
