Tasting Notes
하일랜드 경계의 글렌고인은 피트를 쓰지 않고 느린 증류로 맑은 몰트를 빚는 증류소다. 8년을 보낸 이 오래된 블랙 라벨 보틀링은 맑은 황금빛을 머금는다. 향은 풋사과와 보리, 옅은 꿀의 단내가 또렷이 깃들어 있다. 입에서는 43도의 부드러운 도수가 신선한 곡물과 헤이즐넛, 은은한 오크를 가볍게 감싼다. 피트 없이 정갈한 글렌고인 특유의 깔끔함이 산뜻한 여운으로 부드럽게 비친다.

air Nose
ah, this is interesting, as there’s quite some herbal liquors such as Chartreuse and genepy. Gets then quite grainy, with also some light honey and caramel. Simple but enjoyable
restaurant Palate
extremely herbal, with again some Chartreuse, Bénédictine, Izzara… Interesting indeed, if not totally thrilling. Long and bold finish, mostly on… herbs, you guessed it. 84 points (but Olivier rated it much higher: 89)
