Tasting Notes
하이랜드 경계, 캠시 언덕 기슭의 청정한 공기가 글렌고인 증류소의 부드러운 캐릭터를 길러냈다. 25년 숙성 잔에는 짙은 적갈색이 깊게 머문다. 향에는 잘 익은 자두와 다크 체리, 옅은 가죽이 또렷이 깃들어 있다. 입에서는 흑설탕과 정향, 토스트한 호두가 풀바디로 입천장을 덮고 48도의 균형은 단정하다. 시간이 빚어낸 우아한 셰리 단맛과 마른 견과류 여운이 마지막까지 길고 단단하다.

feels rather fresh and youthful at first - in a good way though. Lots of freshly baked bread, fruit scone mix, honeycomb, candied fruit peel, sultanas. There’s also a sense of acidity and sharpness - not unlike a carbolic washback tang in your nostrils
restaurant Palate
immediately very sweet and impressively syrupy. Some prickly green pepper, more candied peel and scattered sultanas and raisins. Fig rolls, apple pie and custard, a few dried herbs and some caraway. Rather punchy and with a fair bit of crunchy maltiness providing backbone
timer Finish
good length, peppery, getting quite spicy with notes of cinnamon and ginger. Also some hints of fresh oak
