노즈에서는 1970년 캠벨타운 곡물 특유의 묵직한 곡향과 오래된 가죽, 마른 풀의 인상이 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 팰럿은 견과 오일과 검은 자두, 묵은 셰리 잔향이 함께 흐르고 46도 도수가 만드는 균형이 단단하다. 피니시에서는 짠 미네랄 톤이 길게 이어지며 곡물 단맛이 천천히 가라앉는다. Springbank 1970 Local Barley는 23년 숙성과 시대의 깊이가 구조감을 명확하게 드러내는 보틀링이다.
