Tasting Notes
버번 캐스크에서 34년을 보낸 이 1969년 프라이빗 보틀링은 노즈에서 갓 깎은 배와 데운 우유, 녹인 버터가 먼저 드러난다. 제비꽃과 라벤더를 닮은 꽃향이 뒤따르지만 복합성이 크게 뻗지는 않는다. 팰럿은 47.6도답게 힘이 있으나 초반에 고무와 쓴맛이 앞서고 익힌 사과와 재, 금속성 뉘앙스가 이어진다. 화이트 와인처럼 옅은 색이 오랜 리필 캐스크의 이력을 짐작하게 한다. 피니시는 길지만 쓴 결이 끝까지 남는다.

much more presence. Lots of freshly cut pear, boiling milk, cooked butter, beer again. Some flowery notes too (violets, lavender). Not monstrously complex, alas

quite bold, but with a bitter and rubbery attack. Some cooked apple, ashes, pipe juice (argh). Lots of offbeat notes developing (silver spoon, rubber, genever, foreshots).
