잔을 가볍게 돌리면 글렌 스코시아 1992의 옅은 골드빛이 잔 벽을 따라 흘러내린다. 잔을 코끝에 가져가자 캠벨타운 특유의 짭조름한 광물성과 리필 호그스헤드가 길어준 잘 익은 사과, 옅은 헤더 노트가 또렷이 깃든다. 한 모금을 머금으면 46도의 절제된 알코올이 매끄럽게 입천장을 덮으며 보리 사탕과 갯내음으로 발전한다. 하트 브라더스의 18년 보틀링이 캠벨타운의 결을 단정하게 옮긴다. 잔을 입가에서 살짝 떼고 다시 가져가면 처음의 향들이 또렷이 다시 떠오른다. 삼킨 뒤에도 마지막까지 청량한 짠맛이 따라온다.

it’s gently cake-y, brioche-y, between a panettone and a kougelhopf I would say, with tiny spicy touches (mustard? Caraway? Star anise?)
