Tasting Notes
노즈에서는 캠벨타운 특유의 파라핀과 점토, 풋풋한 잎사귀에 빵 반죽과 갓 켠 톱밥이 먼저 두드러진다. 팰럿은 사과의 산뜻함 위로 흙내음과 잔가지, 퍼스트필 포트 캐스크의 옅은 붉은 과실이 겹치며 구조감이 단단하게 잡힌다. 56.4도의 도수가 아홉 해 숙성의 밀도를 또렷하게 지탱하고 감초와 레몬 제스트, 인삼 같은 씁쓸함이 명확하게 드러난다. 피니시는 중간 이상 길이로 어린 몰트와 셰리의 둥근 마무리가 남는다. 글렌스코시아 마스터 캐스크의 이 보틀링은 캠벨타운의 기름지고 흙내음 어린 개성을 보여준다.

clearly in the same ballpark as the Maclean, though a little less defined and cheerful, showing more paraffin, modelling clay and leafy greenery. Could that be the fino influence? With water: bread dough, fresh sawdust, baker’s yeast
restaurant Palate
same general remarks, the casks do make themselves known, but the fruitiness persists. Plenty of apples and a slight earthy, twiggy side. With water: it takes water well, bringing out liquorice and lemon zest. Very nice bitterness too (liquorice wood, ginseng)
timer Finish
fairly long, youthful, with the sherry rounding off the whole ensemble
