잔을 기울이면 옅은 금빛이 천천히 되돌아 내려온다. 코를 대면 퍼티와 기계유 같은 무뚝뚝한 냄새가 먼저 서고, 그 사이로 건포도의 단맛과 솔진, 재가 끼어든다. 화려한 향은 아니지만 결이 곱게 정리되어 있다. 한 모금을 머금으면 소금기와 레몬 껍질이 혀를 깨우고 초록 차의 떫은맛이 뒤를 받친다. 삼키면 오렌지 리큐어의 단맛과 풋고추의 매콤함이 차례로 스친다. 버번 통만 쓴 18년답게 힘보다 균형으로 승부하는 보틀링이다.
