Tasting Notes
잔을 흔들어 향을 깨우면 짙은 호박빛이 잔 안에서 일렁인다. 코를 가까이 대면 캠벨타운 글렌 스코시아다운 짭조름한 바닷바람과 피트 연기, PX 셰리의 건포도 향이 어우러진다. 한 모금 머금으면 퍼스트필 버번에 PX를 더한 8년 숙성이 56.5도의 기운으로 혀를 채우며 훈연과 단 과실을 끌어올린다. 삼키고 나면 짭짤한 연기와 셰리 단맛이 입안에 오래 남는다.

not THAT impressive at first, similar to many older Scotch whiskies including famous blends, but give it time and it'll start to unleash myriads of dried fruits (all of them, really, no need to list them) and then this kind of waxy, slightly smoky coastalness that's also pretty popular north of Inverness. Yeah I know that's the other side. The smoke from a Craven 'A' and a glass of middle-aged Meursault, then zillions of tertiary, and perhaps even quaternary aromas (what's that, S.?) Roasted nuts, honeys, whatever…
restaurant Palate
it's like visiting both the Louvre and the British Museum, a real catalogue of aromas. Smoky, salty, waxy figs, shall we say in summary, or we'll still be sitting here in about ten hours; I would suppose you've got other things to do on your end
