Tasting Notes
잔을 흔들어 향을 깨우면 옅은 호박빛이 가볍게 출렁인다. 코를 가져가면 글렌 스코시아다운 짭조름한 피트 연기가 PX 피니시의 건포도, 캠벨타운의 소금기와 어우러져 올라온다. 잔을 다시 기울이면 그을린 오크와 옅은 가죽이 더해진다. 한 모금 삼키면 56.5도의 힘이 혀를 휘감고 그을린 단맛과 말린 과일, 바다 소금이 번진다. 버번 숙성 뒤 피티드 PX 마무리가 풍미를 진하게 했다. 마지막에는 훈연과 셰리 단맛이 혀 안쪽에 오래 남는다.

not THAT impressive at first, similar to many older Scotch whiskies including famous blends, but give it time and it'll start to unleash myriads of dried fruits (all of them, really, no need to list them) and then this kind of waxy, slightly smoky coastalness that's also pretty popular north of Inverness. Yeah I know that's the other side. The smoke from a Craven 'A' and a glass of middle-aged Meursault, then zillions of tertiary, and perhaps even quaternary aromas (what's that, S.?) Roasted nuts, honeys, whatever…
restaurant Palate
it's like visiting both the Louvre and the British Museum, a real catalogue of aromas. Smoky, salty, waxy figs, shall we say in summary, or we'll still be sitting here in about ten hours; I would suppose you've got other things to do on your end
