세라믹 북 병에서 따라낸 술을 흔들면 짙은 앰버가 두꺼운 다리를 남긴다. 코를 가져가면 럼 같은 당밀 냄새와 스미르나 건포도가 먼저 열리고 다크 토피와 초콜릿, 고기 육수 같은 무게가 뒤를 받친다. 한 모금을 머금으면 43도가 무색할 만큼 맛이 촘촘하게 들어차 퍼지와 말린 과일, 부드러운 향신료가 차례로 지나간다. 삼키면 오렌지 꽃물 같은 향이 스치고, 네 번째 권을 단 이 도자기 보틀링은 옛 셰리 숙성의 두께를 보여 준다.

just superb, on some beautiful rum and Smyrna raisins. Plus, of course, the best sherry. It gets quite meaty, together with some dark toffee and lots of chocolate. The sherry is quite heavy but the whole is greatly balanced

beautiful attack on fudge and baskets of dried fruits. So lively and powerful at the same time! Extremely compact, at that, with lots of soft spices and a bit of orange flower water.
