옅은 황금빛이 잔에 또렷이 비친다. 오큰토션이 1997년에 증류되어 호그스헤드에서 16년을 머문 시간은 로우랜드의 트리플 증류가 만든 정갈한 결을 그대로 안고 있다. 향에서는 갓 깎은 사과와 흰꽃, 옅은 시리얼이 가볍게 풀려나고 입에서는 53.5도의 알코올이 부드러운 오일감과 바닐라로 흐른다. 여운에는 트리플 증류 특유의 깔끔한 단맛이 길게 머문다.
