Tasting Notes
셰리 캐스크에서 15년을 보낸 46도 병입이지만 노즈는 단맛보다 엄격함 쪽으로 기운다. 부싯돌과 흙, 풀, 소독약 뉘앙스가 앞에 서고 분필과 제빵 효모가 배경을 이룬다. 팰럿은 톡 쏘는 질감에 호두 껍질과 사과 껍질의 떫음이 겹치며 오렌지 스쿼시 같은 단맛이 잠깐 스친다. 중반 이후 쓴맛이 지배적으로 발전한다. 피니시는 길고 건조하며 허브의 쌉싸름함 끝에 자몽이 또렷이 깃들어 있다.

it’s really austere, flinty, earthy and grassy, with a medicinal touch (antiseptic) and wee touches of rubber (a box of bands). I also find a little baker’s yeast and, above all, plenty of chalk. Reminds me of my schooldays. And perhaps a little thyme and parsley. Intriguing, as they say

yes, it’s a strange one indeed, and it does remind me of the older 15 from a years back. Very chalky again, kind of fizzy, with plenty of walnut skin, apple peelings, and then orange squash. Something Fanta-ish, I’d say. Tends to become bitter. Fernet Branca at cask strength
timer Finish
long, dry, still very chalky, and bitterly herbal. The good news is that a little grapefruit’s coming to the rescue in the aftertaste, lifting it a bit
