코를 대면 부싯돌과 젖은 자갈 같은 광물감이 먼저 부딪힌다. 한 모금 삼키면 레몬과 자몽의 날카로운 산미가 혀를 훑고 쓴 약초 같은 기운이 뒤를 따른다. 목을 넘긴 자리에는 풋고추와 옅은 피트 연기, 오렌지 껍질이 아주 길게 남는다. 버번 배럴에서 14년, 55.8도로 병입한 스프링뱅크다.

restaurant Palate
huge lemony, aspiriny, cinchona-y arrival, you’d even believe you’re having bitters… neat. You’re also chomping on cactus leaves and burnt broccoli. I know. With water: gentler and fruitier, but all on sharp citrus, grapefruit, lime, bitter oranges…

very long, with some green pepper this time, and peat smoke. A feeling of having just eaten orange peel in the aftertaste
