잔을 코끝에 가져가면 31년을 보낸 오큰토션 1973의 짙은 황금빛이 풍기는 트리플 디스틸레이션 로우랜드 특유의 정제된 향이 가장 먼저 인사한다. 디스틸러리 인디비주얼 캐스크답게 잘 익은 트로피컬 프루트와 시트러스, 그리고 옅은 꿀의 단내가 또렷이 깃들어 있다. 한 모금을 머금으면 52.7도가 부드럽게 입천장을 덮으며 파인애플과 망고가 굴러간다. 삼키고 나면 오큰토션 특유의 가볍고 우아한 질감이 깊게 머문다.
