Tasting Notes
오래된 보틀링답게 노즈에서 골동품 같은 인상이 먼저 두드러진다. 낡은 책과 모직, 오래된 나무장의 향이 앞서고 그 사이로 보리 자체의 곡물 향이 뚜렷하게 감지된다. 허브차와 캠퍼, 시가 보관함의 결이 뒤를 받치며 향의 크기보다는 복합성으로 승부하는 구성이다. 팰럿은 계속 변화하며 시트러스와 수액, 허브의 결이 이어지고 다른 배치보다 바다 쪽 짠맛이 강하다. 레몬그라스가 중심을 잡는 피니시는 매우 길고 날이 서 있다.

the 1972, only with even more complexity. Same ‘antique’ aromas (old books, fur, wool, wardrobe, old wood, old garage… well, anything old, really.) What’s amazing is that you can also nose ‘the barley’, or at least something barleyish. Also many herbal teas and straight teas, some camphor, cigars, old humidor… All that isn’t big, it’s complex just like some old white wine of extremely high quality. Montrachet-esque

perfect. Immensely complex, ever-evolving, nervous, citrusy, sappy, herbal, spicy – but not too spicy –, more coastal and briny than the others… Just one main flavour because we call the anti-maltoporn brigade: lemongrass. Smashing whisky
