구릿빛이 도는 호박색이 잔에 은은하게 어린다. 팔로 코르타도 캐스크는 셰리 중에서도 견과와 짠맛이 도드라지는 통이라 볶은 헤이즐넛과 마른 오렌지 껍질이 먼저 올라오고 그 뒤에 롱로우의 피트가 흙냄새로 따라온다. 58.9도의 술은 입안을 묵직하게 채우면서 호두 속껍질의 쌉쌀함과 소금 캐러멜을 함께 남긴다. 아홉 해의 시간이 만든 여운은 마르고 짜며 오래 머문다.
