Tasting Notes
잔을 코끝에 가져가면 스페이사이드 아벨라워 13년이 모스카텔 캐스크에서 얻은 짙은 황금빛 향을 내민다. 향을 들이마시면 잘 익은 청포도와 꿀, 모스카텔 특유의 향긋한 단내가 풍성하게 올라온다. 한 모금 머금으면 57.3도의 단단한 기운이 혀를 감싸며 건포도와 살구, 가벼운 향신료가 번진다. 삼키고 나면 달콤한 디저트 와인 같은 단맛과 따뜻한 오크가 길게 따라오며 우아하게 남는다.

it’s a rather earthy one, ridden with old and fresh walnuts, crushed mustard seeds, old books, old furniture polish, then bone-dry Madeira and pipe tobacco. It’s almost musty, in a good way. With water: very oloroso-y, and rather more on moss, fern, mushrooms, tobacco, more walnuts…

rich and spicy. This is almost Christstollen! A lot of cloves, cinnamon, caraway, raisins, candied orange zests, liquorice and tobacco. Some cardamom too. With water: sweeter, rounder, more orange-y, so easier, but the spices are still there. Oranges and cloves, a classic duo
