Tasting Notes
옅은 볏짚빛이 잔에 맑고 가볍게 고인다. 아메리칸 오크에서 십 년을 보낸 아베라워 화이트 오크는 40도의 낮은 도수답게 산뜻하고 담백한 얼굴을 먼저 보인다. 잔을 기울이면 청사과와 배, 보리 위로 바닐라와 은은한 오크의 향이 옅게 겹친다. 입에 머금으면 곡물의 단맛과 시트러스, 가벼운 향신료가 매끄럽게 흐르며 스페이사이드다운 정갈함이 드러난다. 강하게 밀어붙이기보다 부드럽게 다가서는 편안한 몰트다. 여운은 마른 보리와 옅은 꿀, 오크의 향으로 짧고 깔끔하게 마무리된다.

a little weak and grainy at the start, with lots of notes if new tyre and rubber. Heavy notes of sulphur, stale beer, rotten kiwi. Not too enjoyable, I’m afraid. Sort of medicinal. Really, really special, but not tired, that is
restaurant Palate
very strange! Aromatically narrow, yet very punchy. Notes of cold tea, aspartame, eucalyptus. Lots of propolis, hay, tar, gentian roots… Very special indeed, unlike any other malt. Not utterly enjoyable but interesting… 82 points . Aberlour 10 yo (40%, OB, white label, late 80’s)
