Tasting Notes
잔을 가볍게 돌리자 16년 애버라워의 짙은 적갈색이 잔 벽을 따라 흘러내린다. 잔을 코끝에 가져가면 셰리 캐스크가 길어준 잘 익은 자두, 흑설탕 시럽, 옅은 가죽 향이 묵직하게 입을 향한다. 한 모금을 머금으면 59.1도의 강한 알코올이 입천장을 든든하게 밀어 올린 뒤 무화과 잼과 다크 초콜릿으로 풀려난다. 증류소에서 직접 채운 핸드필 캐스크의 거친 활기가 입천장 가운데로 모인다. 잔을 입가에서 살짝 떼고 다시 가져가면 셰리 캐스크의 단맛이 또렷이 떠오른다. 삼킨 뒤에도 캐스크 스트렝스의 단맛이 마지막까지 깊게 머문다.

it's really funny to have this one after the bone-dry limitless expression, as this one is much rounder, much more on butterscotch, Mars bars, roasted raisins, and, well, millionaire shortbread. Very nice, as they say in whisky forums. I mean, fora. With water: Guinness (apologies, Pernod) and drops of beef sauce, Bovril… Now it's rather less meaty than early batches, if I remember well

tannins and spices aren't absent here either, but it's still more on cakes, chocolate, peanut butter, maple syrup… With water: same comments. Some orangey notes too, curaçao…

rather long and, once again, rounder and probably a little easier than the biggish WITL
