Tasting Notes
잔을 가까이 하면 잘 익은 사과와 말린 건포도, 가벼운 향신료가 명확하게 드러난다. 아벨라워 15년이 아메리칸과 유러피언 오크를 함께 쓴 영향으로 단맛과 셰리 과일이 균형 있게 노즈를 주도한다. 59.7도의 높은 도수가 입안을 단단하게 채우며 꿀과 무화과, 다크초콜릿의 풍미가 또렷하게 이어진다. 두 오크의 조합이 중반의 구조를 단단하게 잡는다. 피니시는 셰리의 단맛과 오크 향신료가 길게 발전한다. 아벨라워의 균형 잡힌 스페이사이드 성격이 분명한 한 잔이다.

A’bunadh. Okay, that wasn’t very helpful, so we have Seville oranges and milk chocolate on a bed of gunpowder and prunes. Enough said I guess. The whole is big but not overpowering at all. With water: more leather and even shoe polish on top of the gunpowder

powerful, with bags of chocolate, litres of rosehip and hawthorn teas and quite some preserved cherries. The notes of gunpowder are there again, as well as something really flinty. Ever licked stones? A lot of black pepper as well. With water: excellent half-fruity, half-leathery kind of sherry
