짙은 적동빛이 잔 바닥에 두껍게 고인다. 13년의 셰리 숙성을 거친 롱로우 2004는 57.1도의 힘으로 향을 밀어붙인다. 말린 체리와 당밀, 볶은 견과의 향이 층층이 쌓이고 그 아래 이탄이 묵직하게 자리 잡는다. 한 모금은 입천장을 천천히 덮으며 흑설탕과 정향, 가죽의 쓴맛을 차례로 풀어놓는다. 여운은 그을음과 짠 기운이 함께 남아 오래도록 이어진다.
