Tasting Notes
노즈는 쉽고 몰티해 블렌드 상급 음용층을 겨냥한 옛 스타일을 보여주며, 기네스와 마스 바, 솔향과 흙내음 위로 구운 견과와 토스티한 케이크가 먼저 두드러진다. 1985년에 병입된 5년 숙성 애버라워답게 풋풋함보다 둥근 결이 앞선다. 팰럿은 40도답게 다소 얇고 카라멜라이즈된 느낌이지만 고운 초콜릿과 구운 빵, 브리오슈에 메이플 시럽이 또렷이 드러나 균형이 단정하다. 피니시는 중간 길이로 입천장을 감싸며 몰티하고 초콜릿 도는 여운에 건포도와 견과가 깔끔하게 남는다.

easy and malty, typically malt for the upper blend drinkers, so some kind of access-category malt whisky, in the league of Cardhu and Knockando. Guinness, Mars bars, a touch of pinewood, some gentle earth, and of course, many roasted nuts and toasted cakes. Shall we call it ‘rather Chivassy’?
restaurant Palate
good! It’s often on the palate that things go a little off the track with these cheaper malts, and indeed I’m finding it a little thin and a little too caramelised/caramelly, but other than that, there’s some fine chocolate and quite a lot of toasted bread and brioche, plus notes of maple syrup. timer Finish
medium, rather coating, malty and chocolaty. Nice raisins and nuts
