Tasting Notes
노즈는 열자마자 곧바로 밀고 들어온다. 잉크와 석탄 연기, 기름 냄새가 먼저 두드러지고 그 뒤로 타르 바른 밧줄과 오래된 가죽이 명확하게 드러난다. 팰럿은 레몬 같은 산미의 광물성 피트로 시작해 곧 다량의 재로 이어지고 굴과 바닷물의 짠맛이 뒤를 받친다. 47.7%라는 도수가 이 짠 기운을 정확히 전달한다. 피니시는 길고 분필과 재, 레몬즙이 균형을 이루며 소금이 마지막까지 남는다. 옅은 색과 대비되는 강한 캐릭터다.

it’s quite amazing how Springbank became quite Longrowy after the year 2000. Should we go talk to the gentleman that used to be responsible with cleaning the pipes? First a very lemony and mineral peat, then many many ashes, then oysters and citron liqueur. More and more seawater – may we talk to the gentleman that used to be responsible with cleaning the pipes once more? Bah, love this
