잔을 채운 빛은 여름 밀짚처럼 옅고 투명하다. 52.2도의 롱로우 2002는 15년의 숙성에도 젊은 기운을 잃지 않았다. 갓 벤 풀과 등유, 젖은 자갈의 향이 순서 없이 밀려들고 그 아래 라임 껍질이 또렷이 깃들어 있다. 입에서는 왁스 같은 유질감이 두꺼운 결로 흐르며 후추와 소금이 혀 양옆을 자극한다. 여운은 마른 나무와 옅은 이탄 연기를 남기고 천천히 물러선다.
