피틀로크리의 알트 두어 시냇물로 빚는 블레어 아솔은 묵직한 보리 풍미가 특징인 하일랜드 증류소다. 12년산 플로라 앤 파우나는 잔에서 화이트 와인처럼 옅은 빛을 낸다. 콤바인이 막 지나간 들판을 떠올리게 하는 진한 보리향에 옅은 기름기와 파라핀이 감돈다. 43도의 도수로 입안에서는 잘 익은 사과와 보리 시럽, 살짝 단 홍차의 풍미가 맥주처럼 묵직하게 번진다. 마무리는 중간 길이로 사과와 맥아의 잔향이 또렷이 깃든다.
