스페이사이드 더프타운의 풍요로운 골짜기에서 태어난 이 번사이드는 글렌피딕을 바탕으로 한 희귀한 보틀링이다. 리필 버번 호그스헤드에서 31년을 보낸 술은 잔에 옅은 황금빛을 띠고, 코에는 잘 익은 배와 꿀, 바닐라와 풀잎이 맑게 번진다. 49.2도의 매끄러운 입안에서는 시트러스와 토피, 은은한 오크 향신료가 둥글게 흐른다. 오랜 숙성이 빚은 여운은 과수원 과일과 바닐라를 남기며 부드럽게 이어진다.

a little more depth, more herbal teas, some camphor, old walnuts, menthol, eucalyptus, old 'vicar's' apples and some kind of vegetal smoke, garden bonfire… Some green lemons too, rhubarb… In short, there's a lot of freshness in this one

lovely citrusy arrival, then a long development on the same tart apples and pears. A rather surprising profile which would make some of us think of Rosebank at times
