Tasting Notes
옅은 담금빛이 잔 안에서 은은하게 빛난다. 글렌피딕 원액을 담은 워드헤드 1991은 보리와 지나치게 익은 사과, 배의 향이 언제나처럼 첫인상을 이룬다. 으깬 곡물과 옅은 이탄, 서양자두 잼의 달큰함이 겹쳐 오르고 은근한 금속의 결이 스친다. 40도라는 낮은 도수에도 입안은 얇지 않아, 싱그러운 보리와 사과 파이, 필스너와 흙내, 찻잎이 또렷하게 어우러진다. 오래된 글렌피딕다운 정직한 곡물감이 중심을 잡는다. 마무리는 잼과 차, 은근히 그을린 흙내가 길게 이어진다.

these Glenfiddichs always make you think of barley and overripe apples and pears at first. Always, this is no exception. Then there would be some metallic touches, some mashed grains and vegetables, a feeling of light peat that wasn't uncommon in Glenfiddich, and just greengages, both preserved and as jam. Ripe plums that fell to the ground

it's hit-or-miss with these bottles but this is hit. Awesome fresh barley and malt, chef's apple pie, pilsner, earth, teas, leaves… Very very good, and not even thin at 40% vol. No wonder they became #1

not even short. Lovely jams and teas, with an earthy and very remotely smoky aftertaste
